Rapid Movers and Forwarders Company, Incorporated (RMFCI) is a 100% Filipino owned company which was established and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on June 18, 1985.  The company started its operations on September 16, 1985 having Asia Brewery Incorporated (ABI) and Fortune Tobacco Corporation (FTC) as its initial clients. Later on, the company expanded its operations to serve the transportation needs of the other Allied Group of Companies of FTC and later on ABI which included Tanduay Distillers Inc., Grandspan Development Corp., Himmel Industries, Philippine Airlines, Asian Alcohol and several other outside clients. Therefore the company is holding its main office and terminal at Barrio Sala, Cabuyao, Laguna with sub-stations located in Santan (Marikina City), Cabuyao (Laguna), Quiapo (Manila), and El Salvador (Misamis Oriental).

In addition the key factor in the success of the operations of the company is the optimum utilization of its resources at the most economical means.  In summary for this, management has to ensure that equipment uptime is high, through safe driving programs and sound maintenance policies, and that this available time is applied to revenue haulage all the time, Moreover, management has installed rigid cost control, which it realizes as crucial since unwarranted losses of fuel, tires and consumables can drain the company of its margins.

These achievements are evident by the upsurge of the costumer satisfaction and the untarnished reputation for reliable service.

Our Story

The company had its humble beginning in 1985 when it started operations utilizing four (4) old model White tractor heads under the guidance and management of its initial General Manager, Nicanor E. Jao, Jr.  However, the Company’s initial clients are Asia Brewery Incorporated (ABI) and Fortune Tobacco Corporation (FTC).

During the initial years of operations of Rapid Movers, it made use of reconditioned transport units and equipments and had its small rented office / terminal inside the ABI Complex. The year 1987 saw the Company’s expansion when it bid and successfully won a BPA Service Contract with the US 13th Air Force in Clark Air base Pampanga. Initially, it made use of six (6) reconditioned White tractor heads with 40-footer flatbed trailers and later on acquired eleven (11) International Harvester tractor heads thru its generated savings.

In addition, during the period 1987 – 1992, Rapid Movers has continuously increased its fleet capacity with the subsequent acquisition of more units and equipments and eventually moved to its own terminal office within the ABI Complex.  By then, Rapid Movers has expanded its operations by servicing the trucking requirements of additional clients.

  2.  Proficient in operating/handling isuzu trucks
  3.  With minimum experience of three (3) yrs in 10 wheeler truck driving
  4.  Holder of a professional drivers's license, restriction code # 2,3,8
  5.  Familiar with all the routes in Luzon

  2.  Preferably with work experience in manual labor/hard labor or in a contruction
  3.  Willing to perform general services

  1.  Male and preferably with certificate of completion in technical or in vocational training in auto mechanics or automotive for mechanic positions and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) for welder positions from TESDA accredited vocational and/or technical training centers/institutions/schools
  2.  With atleast one (1) year of work related experience in light and heavy equipment/vehicles repairs and maintenance
